The report, Ontario in the Creative Age was release a short while ago. It states we are ideally positioned for the new economy and makes a number of recommendations which will make us move forward. Among them is the need to develop better social interaction skills and analytical skills. It has long been our position that these skills are necessary and indeed add not only to the quality and efficiency of service but also make employees more productive and valuable. If we are to prosper in a service economy, service standards will have to improve.
